Installation Footprint

The term ‘installation footprint’ refers to the amount of space taken, disturbed or cleared to install and run a system. For perimeter intruder detection systems the installation footprint usually takes into consideration the amount of ground-space taken up by a system, the height of the system, the amount of cabling of wiring required, the amount of digging required for installation, the number and size of mounts (posts or poles) required etc.
